The Data Processing window is used for viewing and editing reports, as well as additional setup of their appearance. From this window, a finished report may be printed, placed in a document, or saved in a separate file.
The Data Processing window appears on screen in the following cases:
•when a report is created: after the Create Report button in the Create Report command is pressed (with the Data Processing Window option enabled on the Parameters toolbar);
•when an associative report is edited: after running the Edit in the Data Processing Window command from the context menu of a report that is selected in a document (or after double–clicking its external frame).
In this window, there is a filled report table in the form that was set on the Parameters toolbar of the Create Report command. When an associative report is edited, the Data Processing Window also displays any changes made to the table in the document field.
The report table contains selected objects in its rows, and a set of properties of these objects in its columns. The appearance of the report matches the report style.
By default, the rows of the report display data in the form of links to object properties (see section Data in the form of links).
A report row may contain several table rows. That is caused by the fact that the text length in a cell may exceed the column width set in the report style.
By default, a report is displayed in a grouped view (see section Data grouping).

Text parameters for the table header and the table cells in the Window will match the parameters set up for the current default document. For the text parameter settings, see section Setting up text parameters. |
From the Data processing window, you may:
•save the report to separate files (see section Saving to a separate file);
•print the report (see section Previewing and printing a report);
•place the report in a document (see section Transfer of report to document);
•return to the document housing the associative report that is being edited.
To finish working in the Data Processing Window, press the Finish
. The window can also be closed using the File — Close Data Processing Window or the Close button in the tab.
