Transfer of report to document |
Scroll |
After configuring the report you can proceed to its placement in the document.
A report created in a graphic document shall be placed in the same graphic document. To place the report by the model select the required graphic or text document.
You may place all rows from a report, or just the selected ones, in a document.
For proceeding to the placement of the report tables you need to transfer the report to the document. The following commands are used for this purpose:
•Transfer report to document...
— the report is transferred in its entirety.
•Transfer selection to document...
— only the selected rows of the report are transmitted. The command is available if there are Selected strings.
|
To facilitate viewing the selected lines, you can hide all other lines in the report. To do this, on the Management toolbar, press the Hide All Rows Except Selected button. For more details on viewing the report from selected rows... |
When working with a graphic document, the placement process is started automatically after you run the report transfer command (to learn about the process of placing a report, see section Tables location).
When working with a model, after calling the report transfer command, a document selection dialog or a standard file open dialog will appear on screen, where you should specify the required graphic or text document. The selected document will open, and the system will automatically move to the process of placing the report.
If during the creation of a model report or its setup in the Data Processing Window on the Parameters toolbar, the option To New Document is enabled, then the document selection dialog will not appear. The system automatically creates a new document for starting the process of report placement.
Indicate the position of table snap points with the cursor or by entering coordinates on the Parameters toolbar.
