When creating and editing execution assemblies, the components of which have context links In this regard, pay attention to the following features of this assembly.
Components of the created version (both dependent and independent) retain contextual links with the original assembly, therefore, objects Contextual Link remain in the Design Tree of this assembly. In the Execution Tree, no copy of the object Contextual relation is created.
As part of the Controlling the geometry of component The position of the object Contextual link in the Initial Assembly Tree can be changed. It is also possible to exclude an object from the calculation. These actions are transferred to model versions — both dependent and independent. Therefore, the geometry of the component in the configuration is the same as in the original assembly.
If necessary, you can edit the component in the version. If the original objects of the operation/sketch are replaced with other objects in the process, the link of the component execution to the original assembly is broken. In return, a new contextual link is formed, and the corresponding object Contextual Link appears in the Current Execution Tree.
