Results of measuring distance and angle between two specified objects are displayed in the table located in the Result group on the Parameter Panel. A table row corresponds to each measurement result. The columns of the table contain the following data:
•# — sequential number of measurement,
•Measure — the designation of the measurement value,
•Value — measured quantity.
The content of the column Dimension depends on the types of the specified objects. The following magnitude designations can be displayed in it (detailed description of measurement results — see the table below):
•L(min) — minimum distance between objects,
•L(max) — the maximum distance between objects (this parameter is calculated if the option Information Format is disabled in the Format Information section on the Parameters Panel),
•L(norm) – the distance between objects located in parallel planes,
•L(axis) — distance to axis or to center, inter-axial distance or distance between centers (distance to center or distance between centers is calculated if in the Information Format section the Short option is disabled),
•A — the angle between the objects.
When a row is selected in the table, the corresponding measurement phantom will appear in the graphic area. It is displayed as a segment or an angle and a numerical value; additionally, the axes of rotation will appear if the revolution surface is indicated. If a direction has been set for the measurement, phantom measurements projected onto this direction will be displayed in the graphic area.
You can zoom in on measurement objects by clicking the Scale for selected objects button
above the table.
The measurement results can be displayed in Information window. To do this, click the Show in the information window button
in the header of the Results table. Depending on the type of specified objects, the measurement results presented in a table are displayed in the Information window.

Description of measurement results
L
Distance between objects.
Measured in cases when it is possible to unambiguously determine the distance between objects, for example, between two vertices.
The distance L is also measured if one of the objects is finite (face, edge, curve, solid), and the other is infinite (auxiliary, coordinate axis, or plane). In this case, the result of measuring L is the shortest distance between the objects.
Dimension L (min), Dimension L (max)
Minimum and maximum distances between objects. Measured between the points of two closest objects L (min) and the farthest points L (max) from each other. If the objects intersect, then the value of L (min) is not displayed.
The measurement L (min) and L (max) is carried out for cases when both objects are finite. One of the objects may be a point.
L (norm)
The distance between parallel planes.
It is measured when the specified objects are lie in parallel planes.
A
Angle that depends on the type of the specified objects:
•for rectilinear objects — the angle between crossed or intersecting straight lines containing these objects;
•for rectilinear and planar objects — the angle between the rectilinear object and its projection on the flat object;
•for two flat objects — the angle between the planes of the objects;
•for a rectilinear object and a revolution surface — the angle between the object and the axis of the revolution surface;
•for a planar object and a revolution surface — the angle between the plane of the object and the axis of the revolution surface;
•for two revolution surfaces, the angle between the rotation axes. |
Complementary angle
The angle that complements the measured angle A to 180° or 360°.
Distance to axis
Distance from the point to the axis of the revolution surface. Measured if one of the specified objects is a revolution surface.
Distance between axes
The distance between the axes of the revolution surfaces. Measured if both specified objects are revolution surfaces.
Distance to center
Distance from the object to the center of the arc/circle. Measured if one of the specified objects is an arc or a circle.
Distance between Centers
The distance between the centers of arcs and/or circles. Measured if the specified objects are arcs and/or circles.
Projections on axes of absolute coordinate system
dx, dy, dz are distance projections in millimeters on the axes of the absolute coordinate system X, Y, Z, calculated for:
•L, L(min), L(max), L(norm),
•Distance to axis,
•Distance between axes,
•Distance to center,
•Distance between the centers. |

Parameters L (min), L (max), Complementary angle, Distance to center and Distance between centers, in projections on the axes of the absolute coordinate system are calculated if the Information format option is disabled in the Information Format section of the Parameter Panel.
