Additional methods for setting hatching and fill borders |

When you plot a hatch or solid fills you can set its borders by building a broken line, creating a contour, or specifying boundary objects.
The borders of the area can be set by building a broken line. The line created in this way is displayed in the graphics area only until the completion of the command.

For a broken line: this method allows you to set the area both in its current form and in a form that is not current. In the latter case, when you specify the first vertex, the broken line view automatically becomes the current one.. |
To build a broken line, click the Create broken line
button or Make a contour
to the right of the field Borders.The subprocess of building a broken line or assembling a contour will start.
Perform the necessary actions for building actions and press button Create object
. The system will return to the process of performing the initial operation.

The region border set by constructing a contour can be used only for non-associative hatch or fill. Therefore, when performing the operation in the parametric mode a warning message will appear on the screen, before returning to the initial process. Details... |
When you plot a hatch or solid fills in the Current View you can specify its borders by specifying the objects. To do this, click the Borders field name. This will start subprocess of selecting objects.
Specify the objects that should limit the area, and click Create Object
. Then the system will go back to the initial operation.
When specifying objects, note that they can be specified only in the Current View. Selection of objects belonging to other types will be automatically canceled.
