Data preparation for BOM in documents |

The data that will appear in the BOM after a document is attached to it are the property values of the product and its component parts. Product property values are displayed in the BOM title block, and component property values are displayed in the BOM table.
Methods for specifying the properties of a product and its components are discussed in the section Setting properties of items.
Components not represented by objects (in an assembly - components and/or bodies, in a drawing - macro elements and/or fragment inserts), need to be created. You can make it on Product composition panel or by creating BOM objects.
In addition to the properties of the product's component parts, the specification table can display information about the document itself and its associated documents. Document linking methods are described in the section Document linking.
Data in the BOM table is displayed as BOM objects. The procedure for generating them based on information obtained from the connected document is described in the section Creating of BOM based on data contained in the document.
