Import of objects to current model |

Model objects of IGES, STEP, JT, STL, PARASOLID, OBJ, ASIS and CD3 formats and proprietary formats can be imported into the current model.
Procedure
1.Invoke the Import to current model command.
2.In the File type: list of the appeared dialog box, select the required format.
3.Specify the file to be imported in the dialog box.
4.Start the import process by pressing the Open button.
When IGES, STEP and JT formats are specified , the Open button contains a menu with the Open and Open with Parameters commands .... The Open with parameters... command allows to customize import parameters. After calling this command, a dialog box for setting import parameters appears on the screen.

After clicking the Open button (or the Import button in the parameter settings dialog box), the process of importing objects into the current model is started.
As a result of the operation, objects are added to the current model from the model of the specified format according to the default or custom import settings. The details of importing different objects are described in the Notes on importing model objects section .
