Perpendicularity of selected objects is set by the Perpendicularity
command.
Step-by-step instructions
1.Specify the first and the second object you want to set as perpendicular. Such objects can be segments, auxiliary lines, centerlines, break lines, viewing direction arrows, section/cross-section lines, straight coordination axes.
|
When working with a drawing please note that all the parameterized objects must belong to the same view. |
If the existing constraints do not prevent perpendicularity of the specified objects, then the image will be rebuilt, and after that these objects (or their continuations) will become perpendicular. Apply the Perpendicular constraint to objects.
2.To complete the command, click Finish

Additional features for applying constraints...
The Perpendicularity constraint can be automatically generated when constructing objects in parametric mode. To do this, when setting up the parametric mode, the Perpendicularity option must be enabled in the Parametrize list. The parametric mode setting is performed for a graphic document in the section Parametrization of setting dialog box, and for the sketch in the model — in the section Sketch. The limitation will occur when creating lines and segments that are perpendicular to lines and segments using the commands Perpendicular straight line and Perpendicular segment.
Constraints are displayed in the graphic area in the constraint: preview mode. Perpendicularity is indicated by the symbol
.
