Allows you to choose a line style to draw the specified objects, configure the list of line styles for the current document.

Immediately after opening, only the left side of the dialog box appears on the screen, displaying a list of line styles for the current document. Styles are marked with icons:

system style,

embedded style,

library style; an exclamation mark in a red circle may appear next to the style name , if the style lost contact with the library.

An icon can be added to the left of the style icon, indicating that the style is in effect in the document, i.e. is in use.

When expanded, the dialog has two windows. The right side of the dialog is used to select a library (or set) of styles and add them to the document's style list. Only one viewport can be active at a time. Activation is accomplished by clicking on the window.

Above each viewport is a search field where you can search for line styles by number or name. In the left viewport, the search is filtered by line style type. To find the desired style, enter the search characters in the search field, then select the desired line from the search results list.

Styles in the list can be sorted by name or number. To change the sorting, click the desired column header. A triangle appears in the column header by which styles are sorted. Its position indicates the sorting direction—ascending or descending. A sample of the style whose name is highlighted in the list is displayed in the preview field at the bottom of the dialog.

Library styles with broken links

The connection between a document's library styles and the library is broken in the following cases:

moving the library file from which the styles were added to the document to another folder;

removing the corresponding styles from the library.

Restoring connections is possible in one of the following ways:

place the library file in the same path, then close and open the document - the library and styles in it will be found;

Without moving the library, open it in the line style settings dialog and re-add the styles from it to the document styles list - the previous path to the library file will be replaced with the current one.

If the list contains several library line styles with a broken link, you can use the Library with broken link filter for ease of use.

If restoring the library or styles within it is not possible, edit the objects using the broken-link styles by assigning them different styles, and then remove the broken-link styles from the document's style list. You can do this, for example, as follows.

1.Open the line style settings dialog, remember the name of the style that has lost its connection with the library, and close the dialog.

2.Select objects in the document that use this style using the command Specify by properties....

3.Replace style of specified objects with another one.

4.In the Style Settings dialog, delete the style that has lost its connection with the library.

Lines that use a broken link style retain their style, so you don't need to change their style (for example, if there are no styles to replace).
