The autosorting mode for a part or assembly can be activated and set in the Auto-sorting section of the setting dialog box.
To access this section, call the Settings — Parameters... command 
and in the dialog box that appears, select Current document — Convensional Symbols — Auto-sorting.

Auto-sorting |
The field defines which letters and in what order will be assigned to design objects. Only letters (both uppercase and lowercase) can be entered in this field. Repetition of letters is not allowed. After all letters of the list are used, the objects are assigned the same letters in the same order, but with the addition of a lower numeric index: A1, Б1, ... ; then A2, Б2, ... and so on until A9, Б9. |

By default enable sorting for database labels |
This option allows you to enable sorting for base designations. It applies to all base designations available in the object model. |

When you have finished setting the auto sorting, click Apply and close the box. To exit the dialog box without saving changes, click Cancel.
