Perspective projection, distance in model dimensions |
This field is used to specify the degree of distortion introduced by perspective. The value in this field indicates how many times the distance from the model to the image plane is greater than the maximum dimension of the model. In other words, the screen shows the image of the model that would be obtained by an optical instrument located at the specified distance from the model. The smaller the specified distance, the more distortion of the image will be visible. |
