Properties of the Global CS |

Settings of properties of the Global CS for a part or assembly can be set in the Properties of the Global CS section of the setting dialog box.
To access this section, call the Settings — Parameters...
and in the appeared dialog box select Current Document — Properties of the Global CS.
The dialog allows you to specify names and color of the image of coordinate planes, axes and coordinate origin designation, as well as to save the specified parameters in an xml file or load a file with already existing settings.

Save to file |
The button allows you to save the specified settings in an xml file. After pressing the button, the File Write dialog box appears on the screen. Set the file location and name and click Save. |

Read from file |
The button allows to set parameters saved in xml file. After pressing the button, a dialog box for opening files appears on the screen. Specify the required file and click the Open button. |
Objects |
The list contains objects which names and colors can be customized: three coordinate planes, three coordinate axes, and a coordinate origin designator. You can set different or the same colors to be displayed in the model graphic area for these objects. To specify customizable objects, select them in the list with a mouse click. To rename an object, select it and click on it. The line will open for editing and you can enter the desired name into it. When you finish typing the name, press <Enter> to confirm it or click with the mouse in an empty place of the dialog box. The object names entered in this way will be displayed in the Design tree. |

Method to assign |
A drop-down list for selecting how to set the color of the objects. The following options are available: •By source object — elements of the selected type will be displayed with the color of the part (assembly). •Manually — elements of the selected type can be set to the required color. The panel for color selection appears after clicking in the Color field . |

Defaults |
Click this button if you want to restore the default settings for all object types. |
To exit the dialog without changing the settings, click Cancel.
