Properties of local CSs |

The absolute coordinate system properties for a part or assembly can be set in the Local coordinate system properties section of the setting dialog box.
To access the section, call the command Setting — Parameters... 
and in the dialog box that appears, select Current document — Properties of local CSs
The dialog allows you to set the names and color of the image of coordinate planes, axes and coordinate origin designation, as well as to save the specified parameters in an xml file or load a file with already existing settings.

Save to file |
The button allows you to save the specified settings in an xml file. After pressing the button, the file write dialog box appears on the screen. Set the file location and name and click Save. |

Read from file |
The button allows to set parameters saved in xml file. After pressing the button, the Open files dialog box appears on the screen. Specify the required file and click the Open button. |
Objects |
The list contains objects whose name and color can be customized: three coordinate planes, three coordinate axes, and a coordinate origin designator. You can set different or the same colors to be displayed in the model graphic area for these objects. To specify setting objects, select them in the list with a mouse click. To rename an object, select it and click on it. The line will open for editing and you can enter the required name into it. When you finish typing the name, press <Enter> to confirm it or click with the mouse in an empty place of the dialog box. The object names entered in this way will be displayed in the Design tree. |

Method to assign |
A drop-down list for selecting how to set the color of objects. The following options are available: •By source object — elements of the selected type will be displayed with the color of the part (assembly). •Manually — elements of the selected type can be set to the desired color. The panel for color selection appears after clicking in the Color field . |

Placement on layers |
The drop-down list allows you to specify the layer on which the origin designation (LCS) will be placed. The following options are available: •On the current layer — LSC will be placed on the current layer. •On specified layer — LSC will be placed on the layer specified by the user. The layer number is entered in the field on the right. The layer number must not exceed the value 2 147 483 647. If after LSC creation it turns out that the layer with the specified number is absent in the model, it is created automatically. The element is present in the dialog box if the LSC line is highlighted in the Objects list. |

Click this button if you want to restore the default settings for all object types. |
After completing the settings, click the dialog box Apply and close. To exit the dialog box without changing the settings, click Cancel.
