Selection of default methods of working with LCS (local coordinate systems, see the Local coordinate system section) is performed in the LCS section of setting dialog box. To access the section call the command Settings — Parameters... 
and in the dialog box that appears, select System — Model editor — LCS.

When creating an LCS, assign it to the current CS |
•If this option is enabled, the new LCS is automatically assigned a status of «current». •If this option is disabled, then after creating a new LSC, the current LSC remains the same as it was before creation. Regardless of the state of this option the user can make any of the coordinate systems available in the model current (see section Current coordinate system. Selecting the current coordinate system). |

Create LCS only in absolute CS |
•If this option is enabled, when creating all new LSCs, their parameters are set relative to the absolute coordinate system of the model (see section Absolute coordinate system). •If this option is disabled, the parameters of the new LSC are set relative to the coordinate system that is the current one. Thus it is possible to form a hierarchy of LSCs in the model. |
When you have completed the setting, click Apply and close. To close the dialog without changing the setting, click the Cancel button.
