General settings of mark/reference symbols for the current graphic document are made in the Mark/reference symbol section of setting dialog box.
To access the section, call the command Settings — Parameters... 
in the dialog box that appears, select Current document — Designations for civil engineering — Mark/reference symbol.
The dialog box allows you to set the separator — one or more characters between the mark text and the mark number, and enable auto-numbering. Customizable parameters belong to the following subgroups (see Object parameter types section ):
•Separator between the mark name and its number — to a subgroup 1.1,
•Auto numbering — to a subgroup 1.2.
Enter the characters in the field Separator between the mark name and its number. Maximum number of symbols — three. These characters will be automatically inserted between the mark symbol and the mark number. If one of the elements a mark name or a number is absent, the separator is not displayed. In the Mark/reference table (see Mark/reference symbol entering), the mark text is displayed with the separator.

Enable the Auto numbering option to automatically assign the next available number to each new mark when it is created. Autonumbering works for marks with the same text designation. Mark type — with, on, or without an indentation line — irrelevant.
When the settings are complete, click the dialog box Apply and close. To exit the dialog box without saving changes, click the Cancel button.
