Passive phantom |

Customizing the appearance of the passive phantoms displayed on the screen is to customize the drawing of lines showing the shape and position of the objects being created or edited before they are fixed. The corresponding parameters are set under Passive phantom of setting dialog box.
To access the section, call the command Settings — Parameters... 
and in the dialog box that appears, select System — Graphic editor — Phantoms — Passive phantom.

Phantom style |
A drop-down list that can be used to select a line style for drawing the phantom. The available options are: •Solid, •Dots, •Dashed line, •By object — style of phantom lines coincides with the style of drawing of the simulated object. When selecting an option By object line thickness and color cannot be adjusted. |

Method of setting line thickness |
A drop-down list for selecting how to specify the phantom line thickness. The following options are available: •Specified thickness — line thickness can be set by the user. •By object — the thickness of the lines will coincide with the thickness of the lines of the simulated object. The list is displayed if the line drawing style Solid is selected . |

Line thickness, pixels |
Field for specifying the phantom line thickness. The field is displayed if the thickness setting method is selected Specified thickness. |

Color setting method |
A drop-down list with which you can select the color of the phantom rendering. Available options. •Specified color — the color of the phantom drawing can be assigned by the user. •By object — the color of the phantom matches the color of the simulated object. |

Color |
Field for setting the color of the phantom drawing. To change the phantom color, click in the field. The field is displayed when the Specified color method of color assignment is selected. |

Preview |
A field for viewing the appearance of the phantom lines, which allows you to evaluate the changes made. |
After completing the settings, click the dialog box Apply and close. To exit the dialog box without changing the settings, click Cancel.
