Constraints and degrees of freedom |

You can set the display options for icons showing restrictions and degrees of freedom in the Constraints and degrees of freedom section of setting dialog box.
To access the section, call the command Settings — Parameters... 
and in the dialog box that appears, select System — Graphic editor — Constraints and degrees of freedom.

Field with current color of displaying additional elements — dashed lines, dots, crosses, etc., which are shown next to icons of restrictions imposed on graphic objects. To change the color, click in the field. Changing the color changes the appearance of the item in the view window to the right of the field. |

Degrees of freedom |
The field with the current color of rendering of icons of degrees of freedom available for graphical objects. To change the color, click the mouse in the field. Changing the color changes the appearance of the element in the view window to the right of the field. |

Fully determined objects in the sketch |
A field with the current display color of fully defined objects in the thumbnail. To change the color, click in the field. Changing the color changes the appearance of the item in the preview window to the right of the field. |

Special icons indicating restrictions are colored dark purple or light purple, depending on the theme of the window KOMPAS-3D. The color of the icons is not customizable. |

Change the color of fully defined objects in the sketch |
An option that controls the color change of objects in the sketch that do not have any degrees of freedom. If enabled, fully defined objects in the sketch are displayed in the selected color, if disabled, the objects do not change their color. |

Size of constrain icons |
A drop-down list that can be used to select the size of special icons denoting restrictions imposed on graphic objects. Available options. •Small, •Medium, •Large. |

Always show dimensions with variables, |
The option that controls the display of the following objects: •variable dimensions, •marquees around fixed dimensions, •fixed point symbols. If the option is enabled, these objects are displayed on the screen regardless of whether the constraints display mode is enabled or not. If the option is disabled, these objects are displayed only when the constraints display mode is enabled. |

Display constraint icons for selected objects |
The option that controls the display of the selected object's constraints icons when the constraints display mode is disabled. If the option is enabled, the icons of the constraints imposed on the object appear on the screen when the object is selected, if disabled, they do not appear. |

Color customization is performed for the current interface theme and is saved for subsequent sessions if the interface theme is not changed. If the theme changes, the setting is reset.
When you have finished customizing, click Apply and close. To exit the dialog without changing the settings, click Cancel.
