If KOMPAS-3D was started without using KOMPAS.ini, the default paths to files and folders (and to KOMPAS.ini as well) are shown in the section. To create a file KOMPAS.ini, click the Create... link below the table. The file KOMPAS.ini, containing the current settings, will be created and placed in the specified path, and the Create... link will be replaced by the Edit ... link . link will be replaced by the Edit... link . After clicking on it, the KOMPAS.ini file will be opened in an application registered in Windows for ini files. If no application is registered, select any text editor in the dialog box that appears. Edit and save the file. The structure and syntax of the KOMPAS.ini file is described in the section File KOMPAS.ini. Make the necessary changes and save the file.
The newly created or edited KOMPAS.ini file will be used in the next session with KOMPAS-3D.
|
When starting the KOMPAS-3D system, the ini file is searched only in the folder with the exe file, so the newly created KOMPAS.ini file is automatically located in this folder. Placing it in another folder is equivalent to the absence of this file. |
You cannot undo the creation or editing of a KOMPAS.ini file. If necessary, delete (rename) the file on disk or edit it again.
When the settings are complete, click the dialog box Apply and close. To exit the dialog box without saving changes, click Cancel.
