This toggle switch is used to enable or disable setting reference numbers in the current section of the BOM (see section Setting reference numbers).

If this button is pressed, then reference numbers will be assigned in the current section; if the button is depressed, then the reference numbers will not be assigned.

Switching this button is equivalent to changing the setting Positions in the section put in BOM settings dialog.

Automatic

sorting

This toggle switch is used for enabling and disabling the auto sorting of BOM items in the current section. If the sorting of items within a section is disabled, then they can be arranged in an arbitrary order or moved within a section (see section Sorting and shifting items).

The command button is used as an indicator of the current section setting — the pressed button indicates that sorting of objects within the current BOM section is allowed, while the depressed button means that sorting is forbidden.

Toggling this button is equivalent to changing the Sort Objects in Section setting. BOM settings dialog.
