Editing numbers of versions of products is made when BOMs are displayed with no detailing.

To change the version number, double–click in its cell. The version number (for option A) or the number string (for option B) will be available for editing. Enter the required number (or numbers). Please note: in the group BOM created using option B, the number is entered directly into the table cell, while in the group specification created using option A, when editing the version number, the designation input Dialog to input designation. After the number is configured close the dialog using OK button.

After editing the version number/numbers is completed, confirm changes by clicking the Create object in the Title Bar of the Parameter Panel or the key combination  <Ctrl> + <Enter>. You can also click the mouse anywhere outside the row being edited.

After confirmation, there is a check for identical product version numbers. If it is found that any of the entered numbers duplicates another version number, a message will appear in the lower right corner of the window indicating that the version already exists, and the number change will be canceled. When working with group BOM using the option B, it may happen that the same reference number is assigned for two or more versions of the product. In this case, the change is applied only to the first of them, while the previous numbers are returned to the others; no message is displayed in this case.
