Re-building allows to make the information in the drawing containing associative views up-to-date.

Re-building of a drawing is required if the image in the views of the drawing does not conform to the changed model. Such views are marked with the icon in the Drawing Design Tree, and in the graphic area, they are displayed as crossed out.

Rebuilding of a drawing may be also required, for example, after Enable/disable the display of components, Purpose of "uncuttable" components and in some other cases.

To rebuild a drawing, you can:

click the Rearrange button in the Quick Access Panel,

press the Rearrange button on the context bar,

press the <F5> key.

If there are unsaved changes in the model, you will be prompted to save the model when you rebuild its associative view. Click Yes to save the model file or click nan to cancel saving. In any case, the appearance of the model and the contents of the title block in the associative view will match the current view of the model.

When you open and activate the drawings with associative views, the system automatically checks the images in these views to be consistent with the corresponding models.

If an inconsistency is detected, a prompt to rebuild the drawing will appear. If you accept the prompt, the image of the drawing will be rebuilt. If you decline, rebuilding will be postponed.

In some cases, it may be required to rearrange not all the drawing but only one of its associative views. For this purpose select the required view and invoke the Rearrange viewcommand from its context menu.
