Section parameters configuration

Scroll

If you need to edit the parameters of the model section, select the row of this section in the list of sections during the Manage model sections process and click the Edit section  button to the right of the list.

A phantom of the section plane(s) appears in the graphic range, and section controls appear on the Parameter Toolbar. The set of elements on the tabs is the same as for the section creation.

To edit the cutting step, select it in the Cutting step list and configure as required. You can also add or remove the cutting steps.

When deleting and editing the cutting steps used to define the base planes of other steps, note the following.

When deleting a step whose plane serves as the base plane for another step, the plane of the step following the removed one will be used as the base plane. If there is no such step, then automatic re-selection of the base plane will be impossible. Steps with lost base planes become error steps. Symbols (!) appear in its name, and in the Step selection list the Previous step is not defined line will appear. If this list contains other steps, then it remains available for selecting the step. Otherwise, the list becomes unavailable.

If the plane of Step 1 is used as the base plane for Step 2 built using the Rotated plane, method then when Step 1 is edited the position of its plane should remain parallel to the axis of rotation of Step 2. Otherwise Step 2 becomes an error step. (!) symbols will be added to its name.

The symbols (!) appear in the step name if its base plane is the model plane, which has become non-parallel to the axis of rotation as a result of editing.
