Text paragraphs have a number of the parameters which determine their appearance. The paragraph properties include:
•line spacing,
•left-hand and right-hand indentations,
•spacings before and after paragraph,
•method of text alignment:
•left-justified,
•by center,
•right-justified,
•by all the width within text boundary,
•tabulation parameters.
These parameters are inherent to each paragraph and can be changed at any time.
Besides, specific font parameters can be assigned to the entire paragraph or some of its fragments (see section Selection of font and setting its parameters).
The listed paragraph parameters together with font parameters can be combined into text style. The style can be configured once and saved for multiple reuses for quick formatting of documents (see section Text styles).
Perhaps, on document detailing you have to frequently use various font parameters and paragraph properties. So as not to get distracted to their setup during text entry, it is recommended to type all the document in the main font with a uniform style. Then, selecting the required paragraphs or other text fragments, it is possible to set the required font parameters and paragraph properties to them, or set certain text styles.
