Adding and deleting rows and columns

To run the operations of column insertion, fetch the required command:

Insert column to the left,

Insert column to the right,

To run the operations of insertion of rows, fetch the required command:

Insert row above,

Insert row below.

The column (row) which was current before fetching a command is regarded initial for the new column (row).

To add a row to the bottom of the table, place the cursor at the extreme bottom right cell and press the <Tab> key.

Insertion is performed according to the following rules.

One column (row) is inserted per one command fetch.

The cells of a new column (row) have the same sizes, text formatting parameters and border line style as the initial column (row).

The texts contained in the cells of an initial column (row) are not copied into the cells of a new column (row).

To delete columns, use the Delete column command.

To delete rows, use the Delete row command.

To delete several columns or rows at a time, select them prior to fetching a command.

Pressing the <Delete> key will clear the contents of cells of the selected columns (rows). Columns (rows) remain in the table.

You can insert and delete columns (rows) only if the number of columns (rows) is not fixed (see section Fix Table Size).
