Placing several sheets |
Scroll |
To place several sheets in the print field, you can use methods listed in table Placement methods for sheets in the output field.
|
It is recommended to select adjacent sheets. Otherwise, placement of the selected sheets may result in overlapping with other sheets. To find overlapping sheets, run the Service — Find Overlapping Sheets command (see the section Searching for overlapping sheets). |
Placement methods for sheets in the output field
Method |
Description |
|
Rotate sheets Move sheets Scale sheets |
Rotation, movement, and scaling of multiple selected sheets are carried out in the same way as for a single selected sheet (see the sections Scaling document sheets, Moving a sheet and Rotating a sheet). The base point of the selected sheets is the left bottom corner of the bounding rectangle. |
|
|
Joining and aligning sheets |
Changing the position of the selected sheets, where they first shift to the left to the edge of their bounding rectangle or the nearest selected sheet, and then similarly shift down. To perform this shift, use the Join and align selected sheets command. |
|
Placing sheets in nodes |
The bottom left corners of the selected sheets are aligned with the bottom left nodes of the nearest print pages. To perform such a move, use the Place Selected Sheets in Page Nodes command. |
|
As a result of executing the Join and align selected sheets and Place Selected Sheets in Page Nodes commands, sheet overlap may occur. It depends on the ratio of the sizes of the sheets and the print pages, as well as the initial position of the sheets on the output field. To find overlapping sheets, run the Find Overlapping Sheets command. |
To join and align sheets, use the Join and align selected sheets
command.
This command is available if the print field page selection mode is off.
If the use of a gap between sheets is enabled when setting the output parameters, the sheets are shifted towards each other with a gap.
The shift does not impact the orientation of the sheets.
Placement of selected sheets in page nodes
You can place the selected sheets in the page nodes using the Place the selected sheets in the page nodes
command.
This command is available if the print field page selection mode is off.
The sheet is moved to the nearest page node if the lower left corner of the sheet is in the "sensitivity zone" of the node on this page.
The radius of the "sensitivity zone" of a node is set when configuring the output parameters.
