Recalculate dimensions – a set of the following parameters:

a set of variables corresponding to dimensions of sketches and operations (to learn about dimensions, see section Dimensions of sketches and operations);

method of recalculation of value of each variable of set (see tab. Methods of recalculating model dimensions).

System recalculations of model dimensions:

to middle part of the tolerance field (used by default),

by upper limit,

by the lower limit.

A set of variables for system recalculation is formed automatically. It includes all the variables of a model (including the variables of components) corresponding to the dimensions of sketches and operations sizes. Values of variables of this set are recalculated with one method.

For example, to rearrange a model, recalculation of dimensions to middle part of the tolerance field is used. On enabling the mode of recalculation of the values of variables participating in recalculation take the values corresponding to the midpoint of the tolerance field. The model is rebuilt based on new values of variables.

The user can create own recalculations of dimensions – user-defined. A set of variables of the user recalculation is formed manually. For each variable of this set, one of the recalculation methods of its value is assigned:

to the middle of the tolerance field,

by upper limit,

by lower limit,

with coefficient.

Methods of recalculation of dimensions and corresponding recalculation formulas are shown in Table Methods of recalculating model dimensions. Character in the formulas designate:

A – recalculated value of dimension: (of sketch or operation),

N – rated dimension value,

ES – upper deviation,

EI – lower deviation.

If the size of the sketch or operation is of the info type, then the value of variable of dimension is not recalculated (remains unchanged).
