Creation, editing and deletion of user-defined recalculation |
Scroll |
To create, edit, or delete a user-defined recalculations, fetch the Recalculation control... command from the menu Management – Recalculate dimensions. The Document manager dialog appears on the screen.
In the dialog that appeared, do the required actions (see below).
To close the Document manager dialog, press the OK button.
|
Confirmation of each change in the Document manager dialog is not required since change in the model is saved right after running. |
|
The variables, components and recalculation methods which are part of the user-defined recalculation can be deleted on further editing of the model or components. In this case, the cells corresponding to the listed objects, in the Name are selected in red color, and in the Parameter column – are cleared. |
Creation of user-defined recalculation
To create a user-defined recalculation of model dimensions, do the following actions.
1.In the left-hand part of the Document manager dialog, select the Recalculate dimensions element.
2.Press the Create
button on the toolbar of the dialog Document Manager.
A new recalculation with the default name is added to the list of recalculations. If necessary, you can change the recalculation name.
3.Specify the created recalculation in the list of recalculations in the left-hand part of the dialog.
4.Generate a set of variables and/or components of the new recalculation.
•To add variables, use one of the following methods.
•In the Design Tree or in the graphic region, specify the derivative dimensions which correspond to the required dimensions of sketches and operations (the derivative dimensions must be created in advance, see section Derivative dimensions).
•Add the necessary model variables to the set using the Read variables
or Insert variable
buttons located on the toolbar of the Document Manager dialog (for more details, see section Techniques of working with recalculation modes in the Document manager).
•To add a component, specify it in the Design Tree or in the graphic region. Note that components of the first level participate in the recalculation of dimensions and entirely, i.e. the selective indication of objects or variables of a component is impossible.
In the list of variables of a new recalculation, there will appear lines matching the variables and/or components of the set.
5.Set a recalculation method for each variable and a component. For that, in each cell of the Method column, choose the desired recalculation method from the dropdown list: to the middle of the tolerance range, to the upper limit, to the lower limit, with a coefficient (see the table for recalculation methods of dimensions). Methods of recalculating model dimensions). If the with coefficient method is used, enter a value of the coefficient within 0 to 1 into the respective column of the Coefficient cell.
Note the special features of setting up recalculation of components:
•the with coefficient method is unavailable,
•if the method to middle part of the tolerance field, by the upper limit, or by the lower limit is selected, all the methods of a component are recalculated according to this method,
•available for selection are user-defined recalculations created in a component file.

You can use arrow keys to navigate through cells. |
|
You can create a new user recalculation with the parameters of an already existing system or user recalculation sample. To create a user recalculation similar to the existing one, the By instance button on the toolbar in the dialog Document Manager is used (for more details see section Techniques of working with recalculation modes in the Document manager). |
Editing user-defined recalculation
Editing the user-defined recalculation is almost similar to its creation. To start editing, open the Document Manager dialog, by performing the actions described above.
Deletion of user-defined recalculation
If the presence of a user-defined recalculation in model is not required any more, it can be deleted. Use the following procedure.
1.Open the Document Manager dialog by performing the actions described above.
2.In the list of recalculations, select the required recalculation.
3.On the dialog toolbar, click the Delete
button or call the command from the context menu of recalculation.
The selected recalculation is removed from the list of recalculations.
