Plotting a point on polygonal object's edge |

To plot a point on a face of polygonal object, use the command Point On Surface
.
After running this command you have to specify the face and select a point location in the graphic area. You can use two methods to define the location: by the mouse pointer or by snapping to a spot object.

The resulting point may be located only within the specified face. |
You can also select a coordinate system, as well as set the properties of the point – name, color, and style.
After plotting is completed, the point appears in the graphic area, and its icon
