General information about simple views

Scroll

Simple views are part of a simple (non-associative) drawing.

The image in the simple view is built manually, unlike the associative view, containing an automatically generated projection of the model.

A simple view can be fully independent or have a link with the detailing object – view arrow, cut/section line, leader element, node point designation,, sectional node point designation. After creation of any of these objects, the command of creation of a simple view is started. At the same time, a link between the object and a view is created automatically. If a simple view is created independently, you can link it to a detailing object by adding a link to this object to the view caption.

Automatic creation of view

Procedure of creation of a simple view

All the simple views, except the leader element, are created empty. The image in them must be built independently.

Note the following when creating a leader element:

if a view is created automatically after setting the leader element designation or in the process of creating a view, a link to the designation is added into its caption for the image in the view to be created automatically,

if a previously created view is associated with the leader element designation, the image will not be created in the view.

Simple views can be edited, copied and deleted, their statuses and positions on the drawing can be changed.

Working with views

You can create breaks in simple views, if needed. Creation of breaks is available to all views, except for he system view. Upon completion of the command, the image between the break borders is deleted automatically, and the remaining parts are moved closer to one another. Details...
