Transfer of properties when creating a view |

The values of properties set in the model can be transferred into its associative drawing during creation of Standard or Arbitrarytypes.
If the view being created is the first associative view in the drawing, then in its default parameters the transfer of properties from the model is enabled – the Connect to model properties toggle switch, located in the Drawing Properties section of the Parameters Panel, is in the I (enabled) position. At the same time, below the toggle switch a list of transferred properties is displayed.
The list contains only those properties whose values can be transferred into the drawing from the model. The list of transferred properties is given in section Model properties in an associative drawing. If the value of property is not set in the model, then it cannot be transferred to the drawing. Such property is also not included into the list.
Values of all properties displayed in the list are transferred to the drawing. It is impossible to disable transfer of a specific separate property – options in the lines of properties are enabled and unavailable.

If the property value is set in the drawing when creating a view, then the option in the line of this property is disabled. Its value will not be transferred from the model. To transfer a property value, enable the option. |
The transferred properties are used for filling the title block of the drawing and setting the sign of majority surface finish.
If values of properties from model are not required to be transferred, then during creation of a view set the Connect to model properties toggle switch to position 0 (disabled). In this case, the text in the fields of the title block and parameters of the sign of majority surface finish must be set manually.
During creation of all associative views, except the first, transfer of properties from the model is disabled by default. If necessary, you can enable the transfer by setting the Connect to model properties toggle switch to position I (enabled). Values of properties from the model source of the current view will be transferred to the drawing, and the values transferred earlier will be deleted.
Further on, it is possible to change the list of transferred properties or to give up transfer of properties from the model completely. If a drawing contains associative views of various models, you can also select other model as the source of properties. These actions are performed while editing the title block or modifying the drawing properties.
