Step-by-step instructions to define the material and CMP |
Scroll |
Material and CMP of an object (in this case an object will mean a model, solid, or component) are defined during the modification of its properties.
1.For modification of the object’s properties select the object in the Design Tree and invoke the relevant command from the context menu:
•Model properties
,
•Properties of Solid,
•Component properties.
The properties modification elements will appear on the Parameter Toolbar.
2.Using the elements from sections Material and CMP calculation one can perform the following operations:
•Material configuration of the object
•Configuration of object hatch parameters
Depending on the selected CMP calculation method, you can set the following:
•material density used for calculation of the mass (method By density),
•arbitrary values of the mass, center of gravity coordinates, and moments of inertia (method By mass).
3.To complete setting up the CMP parameters, click the Create Object
button on the Parameter Panel header.
The calculated or manually entered values of the mass, center of gravity coordinates, and moments of inertia for the model will be recorded in the file of this model.

You can also view and change the mass, material, density and hatch parameters of the model, its solids and first level components in the Property editor or on the Product BOM panels. |
