In the mode Spline form You can select one or multiple poles of the grid. Poles may be positioned arbitrarily or belong to a single row.

Poles of the grid are displayed in the graphic area as circles. If the pole is not selected, the circle is blank. If the pole is selected, the circle is color–filled.

If you select a series of poles, the segments of this series are highlighted, and all its poles are displayed as color–filled.

After you select a pole (or a series of poles), the Placement element appears.

Methods of selecting poles

To select one pole, move the mouse cursor towards it. When the icon of a vertex will appear by the cursor, click the mouse.

To select all the poles in a series, move the mouse cursor towards this series segment. When the 3D curve symbol appears near the cursor, click the mouse.

If you select a pole (a series of poles), then the previous selection is canceled.

To select several arbitrarily located poles, please select the first pole as described above, then select other poles by clicking them while holding the <Ctrl> key. If you select a series of the grid in the same way, all the poles of this row will be added to the selected set. Click the selected pole (series of poles) again while holding <Ctrl> to unselect.

If you click a pole while the holding the <Shift> key, this pole isn’t added to the selected poles. This shortcut is only used to modify the position of the location element.

To cancel selection of poles, press <Esc>.
