To update a copy that has Automatic update turned off, select it in the Design Tree and invoke the Refresh command from the context menu . For the option of updating without checking for changes, the command is always present, and for the option with checking for changes, only if the source objects have changes.

After invoking the command, the copy objects geometry becomes the same as the geometry of the source objects.

If the copy objects source file is lost, updating cannot be performed.

For the updating option with checking for changes in the source file (Update by command and follow the source), the Refresh is missing in the context menu.

For the updating option without checking for changes in the source file (Update by command), the Refresh command is present in the context menu, but after running the command updating is not performed. A message stating a missing file appears on the screen.

More details on working with the loss of the copy objects source file...

You can update multiple copies of geometric objects at once. To do this, select all the desired copies in the Design Tree and invoke the Update command from the context menu.

If the Tree is a Structural Representation, you can update all existing copies within one command. To to that, select the Copies section in the Tree and run the update command.

To update all copies contained in the model, you can also use the Edit — Update Copy Operations command. When updating is complete, a message about the number of updated copies will appear on the screen.

Using the Update copy operations command in an assembly has the following specifics.

If no object is selected in the Design Tree or the assembly root object is selected, then after running the command the copies will be updates in the assembly itself and in all its components at all levels,

If an assembly component is selected, then after running the command only the copies included in this component and its nested components are updated. You can perform updating for multiple components at once, by selecting them in the Design Tree.

If any other object is selected (not a component or an assembly), updating is not performed. A message appears on the screen saying you need to select the appropriate object or cancel the selection.

Copies in components are updated only in case of Full loading of components (for load types see section Component Load Modes).
