Updating a copy of geometric objects |

Copy objects are associated with the source objects. Changing of source objects can be transferred to the copy objects automatically or manually.
•Automatic updating of the copy (the default option)
Changing of the source objects geometry is transferred to the copy objects automatically. If the source of the objects is a selected file, then for updating the copy, it is required to rebuild the containing model. In this case, before the rebuilding is complete, an icon 
is displayed next to the copy name in the Design Tree.
•Updating a copy manually
Changing the source objects geometry is transferred to the copy objects after running the Update 
context menu command. To update all copies contained in the model, you can use the Edit — Update copy operations command. To learn more about manually updating copies of geometric objects...
In case of manual updating you can:
•receive information about changing of the source objects of the copy — presence of changes is shown with an icon 
next to the copy name in the Design Tree,
•cancel checking for changes — an icon 
will be displayed next to the name of the copy in the Design Tree.

If the option of automatic updating or manual updating with checking for changes was selected for the copy, then the system also informs the user about loss of the copy objects source file — an attribute of error appears in the Design Tree. You can assign a separate updating option to each copy. To select the desired option, you use the following methods.
•When during creation or editing copy, the update variant is selected using the elements of the Parameters of updating section on the Parameter Panel. Details...
•When working with a copy, to select the updating option you use the context menu commands in the Design Tree. Details...
Changes made in the Parameters Toolbar are transferred to the context menu and vice versa.
