Coaxiality of two selected objects is set by the Coaxiality
command.
Step-by-step instructions
1.Specify the first and the second object you want to set as coaxial. Such objects can be axes, edges, conic faces, etc.
|
You can select mating objects before invoking a command. |
If the existing matings do not prevent the coaxiality of the specified objects, then the model will be rebuilt, and after that the specified objects (or their continuations) will become coaxial. The names of the selected objects will appear in the Object 1 and Object 2 fields on the Parameters Panel.
2.To complete creating the mating, click Create object
.
After that, the mating is overlaid on the specified objects, and the corresponding icon
appears in the Feature Tree.
3.In some cases, various options for the placement of mating objects are possible, where the condition of their coaxiality will be satisfied. In such cases the Parameters Toolbar will contain the option Reverse Orientation. You can change location of an object by enabling or disabling this option. Details...
