Parallelism of selected objects is set by the Parallelism command.

Step-by-step instructions

1.Specify the first and the second object you want to set as parallel. Such objects can be segments, auxiliary lines, centerlines, break lines, gaze arrows, section/cross-section lines, straight coordination axes.

When working with a drawing please note that all the parameterized objects must belong to the same view.

If the existing constraints do not prevent parallelism of the specified objects, then the image will be rebuilt, and after that these objects (or their continuations) will become parallel. Apply the Parallel constraint to the objects.

2.To complete the command, click Finish .

Additional features for applying constraints...

Constraint Parallelism can automatically arise during construction of objects in parametric mode. For this, the Setting up the parametric mode In the list Parameterize, the option Parallel should be enabled. The constraint will appear during creation of straight lines and segments using the Parallel Straight Line and Parallel Segment.

Constraints are displayed in the graphic area in the constraint display mode. Parallelism is indicated by the symbol .
