To measure the full length of a curve (the length of an open curve from the starting point to the end point or to the perimeter of a closed curve), use the Curve Length 
command.
Step-by-step instructions
1.Specify one or several curves to measure the length (see below). Names of the curves appear in the Objects field.

To measure length, you can specify only the curves located in the current view (see section Changing view status). |
You can quickly view the measurement results, or you can enter them in Information window.
When you quickly view the measurement results, the length of the selected curve is displayed next to the cursor. The same value is displayed in the Information window. You can view the length values of other curves by moving the cursor to them. Click curves in sequence to add measurement results to the Information window.
You can save or print the measurement results. For this purpose use the Information Window menu commands.
3.To complete the command, press the Finish 
button on the Parameters panel or close the Information window.
Deleting curves
To measure the lengths of the curves select them in the graphic area of the document one by one. The specified objects are highlighted, and their names are added to the Objects field. The list of measured values will be displayed in the Information window. At the end of the list the sum of all measured values is displayed.
To remove any curve from the list select it again or delete the name of the curve from the Objects field. The curve will be de-selected, the record of its length will be removed from the Information window, and the sum of the lengths will be recalculated.
If you want to calculate the total length of objects (segments, arcs, splines) or their parts that make up a continuous sequence, click Assemble Contour

If you want to measure the length of a temporary polyline (non-existent in the drawing), click Design a broken line
