Saving a print job |

To save a Print jobs in preview mode serves the Save the print job...
command.
After you run this command, a standard dialog to save a file will appear. Enter the filename and click Save. By default, the filename is "Print job".
Each new job is saved in a separate file. The following data are saved:
•relative and absolute paths to the document files selected for printing,
•numbers and sizes of the document sheets selected for printing,
•selected printing device and its settings,
•position, orientation and scale of the document sheets as configured in the preview mode,
•printability setting of output device pages as set using the Mode for selecting pages for printing command,
•filter settings,
•print settings, except for Number of copies, Default print scale and Remember N print jobs.

If you need to move the folders with drawings and print job files to other locations without the print job file becoming obsolete, please keep the print job file in the same folder as the drawing files or in the parent folder. |
To be recorded in a print job file, a document has to have been saved at least once. If there are unnamed (never saved) documents among those selected for printing, you'll get a message that these documents cannot be added to the print job file when you try to save the print job.
Click Yes to skip these documents and save the print job. Click nan to cancel saving the print job.
