Grid Graphics of curvature It is used to analyze the nature of curvature distribution of the surface. The point at which the surface is specified is the curve grid center. Curves of the grid are formed at the intersection of the analyzed surface with the defined set of planes. The set comprises a base plane and a number of planes located in a certain way relative to it.
Planes can be located parallel to the base plane and constructed in two ways:
•Perpendicular to the tangent plane at the grid center point,
•depending on the guiding object position (parallel to a flat object or perpendicular to a straight-line object).
The planes can be arranged radially relative to the imaginary axis passing by normal to the tangent plane at the center point.

The base plane passes through a normal to the surface in the curve grid center point. The plane may be rotated around the normal in the tangent plane passing through the grid center. The α rotation angle is set relative to the U direction. The sections linked with the base plane are located on one or on both sides of it at an equal step.

By object method |
The base plane passes through the curve grid center point, parallel to a flat guiding object or perpendicular to a straight-line guiding object. The sections linked with the base plane are located on one or on both sides of it at an even stroke.

The base plane passes through a normal to the surface in the curve grid center point. The plane may be rotated around the normal in the tangent plane passing through the grid center. The α rotation angle is set relative to the U direction. In contrast with the option of parallel location of sections, the curve of intersection for the curvature plot is only located on one side of the center point. The sections are located in a circular direction at a certain angle. It is calculated from the base plane.
