In this dialog, you can select a document in order to:
•use it in other documents, namely:
•insert the model stored in this document into the current model as a component,
•insert the local part included in this document into the current model,
•use the model as a blank,
•create one or more model associative views models,
•use as source when creating a References to a variable,
•connect this document If a or to the;
•place in it a report or a table Model versions, creating according to the current model;
•display it in print preview.
You can select both an open document and a currently closed document.
The dialog displays the list of names of open documents. To select one of them, follow these steps.
Highlight the name of the desired document in the list.
The contents of the selected document is shown in the preview window. You can disable the display of the contents of the document using the option View.
If the selected document contains Model version and set additional numbers, then in the right part of the dialog, drop-down lists of designations of versions and additional numbers are displayed. Select the desired version and/or additional number. If the model contains created executions for the selected model variants of geometric representation, the dialog also includes the list of options. To select the required variant, activate the respective line in the list. If no choice is required, please leave the selected line as Default.
To complete the document selection, click Select.
To select a document whose file is currently closed, click Select from disk.
In the standard file opening dialog that appears on the screen, select the desired file and click the Open button.

For fill insert a component into an assembly or to To get a preview, you can select several documents at once by selecting them in the dialog list while holding down the <Shift> or <Ctrl> key. Link Select All allows you to select all documents. If you select more than one document, the viewport becomes empty, and the lists of versions and additional numbers are hidden. You can also select several documents from the disc by specifying them in the Open File dialog. |
