Coordination axes |

The coordinate axes for the current graphic document are set up in the Coordination axes section of setting dialog box.
To access the section, call the command Settings — Parameters... 
и in the dialog box that appears, select Current document — Designations for civil engineering — Coordination axes.
The dialog box allows you to set default dimensions of coordinate axis elements, mark size, list of letters for axis designation, and choose on which end of the axis the mark will be drawn.

Marks |
The element group allows you to set the dimensions and positioning of the mark. •Mark size, mm — drop-down list enter or select from the list the circle diameter of the mark designation. In case of a double circle, the selected value defines the diameter of the outer circle. •Ring width, mm — field allows to enter or select from the list the ring width — distance between the circles of the brand designation. The manually entered value is added to the list and saved during the session KOMPAS-3D. |

Turn on mark 1, Turn on mark 2 |
Enable the option Turn on mark 1, so that the axis is drawn with a mark located on the ledge behind the starting point (t1). Enable the option Turn on mark 2, so that the axis is drawn with a mark located on the ledge behind the end point (t2). If both options are disabled, the axis will be drawn without marks. For circular axes it is enough to enable one of the options — Turn on mark 1 or Turn on mark 2, so that the axis is drawn with the mark. |

Letters for designations |
The field allows you to enter a list of letters used to designate marks. The letters are arranged in the order of their use. After all letters from the list have been assigned, double letters taken in order from the list of single letters will be automatically used. |

The group of fields allows you to enter manually or set with the counter the values of coordinate axes parameters. |

The drop-down list allows you to choose how to define stroke length when drawing a stroke. The following options are available: •Auto Determination — automatically calculates the stroke length such that the start and end points of the axis will contain a dash rather than a dotted line or a gap. •Not exceeding, mm — the dash length must not exceed a certain value. The limit value of the dash length is entered in the field on the right side of the screen. |

After completing the settings, click Apply and close the dialog box. To exit the dialog box without changing the settings, click Cancel.
