Adjusting the precision of display and center of mass properties, as well as the precision of display in a part or assembly, is performed in the Precision of display and CMP section of the setting dialog box.
To access the section, call the command Settings — Parameters...
and in the dialog box that appears, select Current document — Precision of display and CMP.

Precision of display |
The scale allows to increase or decrease the accuracy of approximation of curvilinear edges and lines of the model outline by straight line segments, and of curved surfaces by triangles. Changing the rendering accuracy of a model affects only the display of bodies created in or inserted into the model as blanks, and surfaces created in or imported into the model. You must adjust the precision of display of model components in their files. To increase accuracy, move the «slider» from left to right, and to decrease — from right to left. Set the accuracy sufficient for comfortable operation. Note that the greater the accuracy, the longer the calculation time required. |
|
The scale allows you to increase or decrease the error of calculating the center of mass properties of the model and areas. To change the accuracy, move the «slider» between the extreme positions of the scale. The higher the precision, the longer the calculations take. It is not recommended to use the maximum precision unless absolutely necessary, because calculation with such precision takes considerable time. Note that calculation of CMP and areas in the current model is performed with the precision set for this model. The precision set for components when creating or editing them is ignored. |
