You can configure settings for creating components and versions by mirroring or symmetrical insertion in the Mirroring section of setting dialog box.
To access the section, call the command Settings — Parameters...
and in the dialog box that appears, select System — Model editor — Mirroring. The section is also available after clicking the General mirroring settings
button in mirroring settings dialog box (see Mirroring settings section).
At the beginning of the section there is a group of fields that allows you to specify the order of forming the names of components obtained by mirroring, as well as the created mirror versions.
The name of the component/version is formed by adding a predefined suffix to the name of the original component/version according to the template:
<Source object name><Suffix>.
The character sets that make up suffixes are specified in the fields of this group.

The drop-down list allows you to select the folder where the mirrored component model files will be created. The following options are available: •System working catalog — component files will be created in the system working folder. The path to the folder is displayed next to the variant name. •Catalog containing the source file of the original component — component files will be created in the folders that contain their source component files. •Catalog... — component files will be created in the folder selected by the user using the standard file selection dialog. Once a folder is selected, its path is displayed in the field next to the list name. Creating files and writing component models to them is performed if the Save mirrored component in file option is selected from the group of result options when mirroring components. |

When you have completed the setting, click Apply and close. To close the dialog box without changing the setting, click Cancel.
