You can customize the sheet metal defaults for the part in the section Sheet solid properties of setting dialog box.
To access the section, call the command Settings — Parameters... 
and in the dialog box that appears, select Current document — Sheet solid properties.

Radius, mm |
The drop-down list allows you to choose how the folds will be drawn. The following options are available: •Outside — the folds will be constructed along the outer radius. •Internal — the folds will be built on the inner radius. The default bend radius value is displayed in the field to the right. |

When drawing a sheet body, the folds corresponding to the contour corners in the sketch are drawn along the inner radius regardless of the selected construction method. |

Angle, deg |
The drop-down list allows you to select the angle interpretation. The following options are available: •Complementary angle — angle is seen as complementary. •Bend angle — angle is considered as a bending angle (see section Reference direction and angle setting methods). The default value of the bend angle is displayed in the field to the right. |

Method for determining the length of the bend sweep |
The drop-down list allows you to specify how the lengths of the fold sweeps should be defined. The following options are available: •Coefficient — the sweep length will be calculated using of the neutral layer position coefficient. The field to the right of the list displays the default value of the coefficient. •Bend size — the sweep length will be specified explicitly, i.e. by specifying bend size. The field to the right of the list displays the default value of the fold value. •Reducing the bend — the sweep length will be determined by crease reduction. The field to the right of the list displays the default reduction value. •Bend table — the lengths of the fold sweeps will be taken from bend table. |

Bend release |
The drop-down list allows you to select the form of fold release (see section Bend release). The following options are available: •Rectangular, •Rounded. The Depth and Width fields display the default dimensions of the bend release. |
button and specify the desired file in the standard file selection dialog box. The full name of the specified file will appear in the field to the right of the list.Note that all numeric fields in the sheet body setup dialog box are (Thickness, Bend radius etc.) for reference. They correspond to the current values of the sheet body variables (see section Sheet body variables and working with them). If the value of a variable changes, the contents of the corresponding field will also change.
Thus, the following settings can be made directly in the sheet body parameter dialog box:
•changing the way bend radii are set,
•angle interpretation change,
•release form,
•selecting a method for determining the length of sweeps, including changing the bend table.
Once you have made the necessary settings, click Apply and close. To exit the dialog box without saving changes, click the Cancel button .
The settings will be used as default settings when creating new bends in the sheet body. The parameters of bends created before the setting was changed will remain the same.

Selecting a new fold table will affect bends that already exist in the model. For more information, see Changing bend table. |
