New version numbers |

The parameters for generating new model version numbers are configured in the New version numbers section of the settings dialog box.
To access the section, call the command Settings — Parameters... 
and in the dialog box that appears, select Current document — New version numbers. The section can also be called up by clicking the Parameters for generating new version numbers 
button in the Version management dialog box when working with versions or additional numbers.

Form |
This option allows you to control the automatic generation of numbers when creating versions. If the option is enabled, the number of a new version is created automatically in accordance with the specified parameters. If the option is disabled, the following happens: •In the Version tree, when a dependent version is created, the number of the source version is assigned to it, while when an independent version is created, there is no number. •The unique version number must be set manually. •New versions are not created in the Version management dialog box. |

Continuous numbering |
The option allows you to specify the order in which the version numbers are generated. •With this option enabled, for each new version, both dependent and independent, a number is generated following the highest version number available in the document. •If this option is disabled, the number of the created fulfillment is formed taking into account the nesting level of this fulfillment and the independent fulfillment it is subordinated to. For example, the initial version is the version of ABC-123.45-03, where ABC-123.45 — basic designation, and 03 — version number. This number is the largest. •If the option is enabled, the new version (dependent or independent) is numbered 04. The designation of the version is as follows ABC-123.45-04. •If the option is disabled, a new dependent version is created with the number 03-01. Its designation has the form ABC-123.45-03-01. A new independent version is created with the number 04. Designation of this version — ABC-123.45-04. |

Insert zeros before a number |
The option allows you to control the addition of zeros before the number included in the number. If this option is enabled, zeros are added, if disabled — not. The number of added zeros depends on the digit capacity of the number. |

Number digit capacity |
The drop-down list allows you to set the minimum number of digits of the number. |

Start the numbers with |
The field allows you to enter the number from which the numbering of versions will start. |

Additional version numbers |

The option allows you to control the order in which additional numbers are generated. •When this option is enabled, numbers are generated automatically according to the settings described below. •When this option is disabled, numbers are not generated. If the document contains numbers created when the option is enabled, further disabling of the option does not affect the number formation order, i.e. the next number will be created with the same settings as the numbers existing in the document. |

After making the necessary settings, click the dialog box Apply and close. To exit the dialog box without saving changes, click Cancel.
