Setting the text parameters for unspecified roughness designation is performed in the Majority surface finish of setting dialog box.
To access the section, call the Settings — Parameters... 
and in the dialog box that appears, select Current document — Document parameters — Majority surface finish.

The field allows you to enter a character height value (in millimeters) or select this value from the drop-down list. The manually entered value is added to the list and saved for the duration of the session KOMPAS-3D.

|
The field allows you to enter a character width value or select the value from the drop-down list. A manually entered value is added to the list and saved for the duration of the session KOMPAS-3D.

Preview
|
The preview window shows the appearance of the text. This allows you to visually evaluate the changes made.

When the settings are complete, click the dialog box Apply and close. To exit the dialog without changing the settings, click Cancel.
The text settings in the majority surface finish designation are stored in the drawing itself and are not changed when the drawing is transferred to another workstation.
