The list of objects that define the zone dimensions for a part or assembly can be configured in the Zoning section of the setting dialog box.
To access the section, call the command Settings — Parameters...
and in the dialog box that appears, select Current document — Zoning.
The section allows you to specify the objects by which the:
•component dimensions when selecting objects using zones,
•dimensions of the zone, if a composite object is specified for creation of the zone — the model itself or a component of it.
|
The setting made in this dialog box does not affect the manual selection of objects defining the zone dimension, i.e. you can manually specify an object of any type. |
