Generation of a designation label |
Scroll |
To set the elements of a caption, text fields on the element phantom are used. The first field is used for literal designation. The second field may contain additional data, for example, designation of the zone.
The letter offered by system for designation of a view arrow is displayed on the phantom of an element and in the Text field of the Parameter Panel. Below the Text field, there are the following options.
•Auto-sorting.
With the option enabled, alphabet letters are automatically assigned to designations in the order of their creation. Arbitrary editing a letter is impossible.
If the option is disabled, manual character modification is possible. Checkup of coincidence of letters is disabled.
After enabling the Auto-sorting option, the automatically created designation is restored, and the entered text is deleted. Learn more about auto-sorting alphabetic designations of objects...
•Sheet and Zone.
With one of these options enabled, a sheet number or a zone designation where the view with respective image will be located is added to the designation caption.
The sheet number or the zone designation are automatically included into the caption text after creation of a view and forming of an associative link between the caption of the view and designation of the arrow.
|
In fragments, creation of sheets and views is impossible, so the Sheet and Zone options are missing on the Parameter Panel. |
If it is required to enter the text of a caption manually, click in the Text field or in a text box on the designation phantom, or click any of the alphanumeric keys on the keyboard. This will start the subprocess of text entering.
|
If the Auto-sorting option is enabled on the Parameter Panel, the first field on the phantom of designation is unavailable for text entering, and if the Sheet or Zone option is enabled, then the second field is unavailable. If the Auto-sorting and Sheet (or Zone) options are enabled, then the Text field itself is unavailable; the manual text entering is impossible. |
Enter the required text into the respective fields on the designation phantom. To quickly switch between the fields, you can use the <Tab> key.
Double-clicking any text field switches to insertion of a text template.
If necessary, change the text parameters (size, character color, etc.) using the elements on the Parameter Toolbar.
Having completed entering and formatting the title, press the Create object
button. The system will return to creation of a designation.

If text parameters in all the arrows of a view in the document differ from the current default parameters, then it is recommended not to configure each label separately, but to set the required parameters as default. For that, the View arrow section of the dialog for setting up the current document is used. |
