According to the standard, if there is not enough place for arrows and captions it is acceptable to interrupt contour lines, leader lines, centerlines, and axis lines, as well as hatching. To do this, use the Trim Curve by Two Points and Clear Region. But it is much more convenient to apply clearing of background.

Background clearing is automatic interruption of hatches and lines when they intersect with the following objects:

text on drawing,

arrows, captions and marks included in detailing objects (dimensions, leader lines, geometric tolerances etc.).

Enabling or disabling background clearing in the current document is performed in the Dialog for setting up the drawing of overlapping objects. This setting applies to all texts, dimensions and designations existing and newly created in the current document.

If necessary, you can enable or disable background clearing individually for any detailing element or text. To do this, select the desired object and run the Clear Background command from the context menu or from the Detailing menu.

You can invoke the Clear Background command for multiple object at once, having selected them previously. The object may belong to different views.

The objects for which the Clear Background command was invoked do not submit to the configuration made in the Display Overlapping Objects, i. e. enabling or disabling of background clearing in the dialog does not influence objects for which the Clear Background had been run at least once.
