Using a table of variables |

The main purpose of the table of variables – fast assignment of values to external variables of a file being inserted (or inserted) into another document.
Besides, a table of variables can be used for editing the current values of variables in the file that contains the table.

If the file contains external variables which are missing in the table, then their values after application of the table do not change. |

Values of information variables as well as variables which are not external, after application of the table do not change, even if these variables are represented in the table. |
Using a table of variables of the inserted file
The table of variables of a fragment being inserted (or inserted) into a document can be opened in the process of creation or editing an embedded fragment. For this purpose, Variable Table 
button located in the Variables section of the Parameters panel is used.
To open a table of variables of the component inserted into a model, the Table of Variables command in the context menu of the icon of this component in the Design Tree is used.

The button (command) Table of Variables is available if the table of variables stored in the inserted (being inserted) file contains more than one row. |
After pressing the Table of Variables button or fetching the Table of Variables command, the Table of Variables dialog appears on the screen. From the table, select the required row and close the dialog with the Set values of variablesbutton. The values contained in the cells of the selected row will be assigned to external variables of the file being inserted (inserted).
Using a table of variables in the file containing the table
To assign values from a table of variables to external variables of a file, do the following actions.
1.Open the file containing external variables and the table of variables.
2.Enable the display of the Variables toolbar using the corresponding command in the menu Setup — Panels 
.
3.In the header of the Variables toolbar, press the Table of Variables .
This option opens the dialog Table of Variables.
4.In the table, select the required row and press the Set values of variables button.
The Table of Variables dialog will be closed, external variables of the current file will acquire the values contained in the selected row of the table.
If the current file is a model, run the Rearrange 
command for its reconstruction.
